How it works
- Install FamStride on the parent phone and the child phone.
- Allow the requested location permissions for reliable background updates.
- The child device can show local warnings; the parent sees the latest location and alerts.
What is a warning?
A warning is triggered when the child device approaches a hazard zone.
- Child device: local alert (vibration and/or sound) — fast and reliable.
- Trigger: when the device enters a hazard radius (e.g. near a crossing or other hazard).
- Parents: optional push notification, with cooldown to avoid spam.
